Grant Enfinger will be a driver to watch when the ARCA Series races at Daytona International Speedway next month.

The driver from Fairhope turned in the second fastest time during a three-day test session at Daytona that ended on Thursday. But Enfinger did it in a Dodge belonging to Allgaier Motorsports.

Enfinger’s own Roush-assisted No. 09 Ford turned in the fastest time — 48.414 seconds for an average speed of 185.897 mph — with Benny Gordon behind the wheel. Enfinger’s time was 48.418 at 185.831 mph.

There were several other notable drivers at the test session — IndyCar refugee Milka Duno turned in the 13th fastest time. And 76-year-old James Hylton was tied for 11th fastest.
