Three-Day ARCA test produces interesting field

Enfinger wheeled the No. 36 Allgaier Motorsports Dodge to a lap of 185.881 mph in the afternoon drafting session, four thousandths of a second off of Gordon’s leading time. Gordon finished as the overall test leader.
Former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Brian Rose and veteran James Hylton tied for second in the afternoon drafting session at 184.942 mph with Rose wheeling a former Michael Waltrip Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup ride.
Joey Licata Jr. and Jason Bowles completed the top five for the afternoon and were followed on the speed charts but for IndyCar driver Milka Duno, Kevin Swindell, Randy Renfrow, Brent Brevak, and six-time Daytona winner Bobby Gerhart.
Richard Childress Racing, Kimmel Racing, and Enfinger Motorsports, elected not to participate in the final day’s testing. Other teams, including Venturini Motorsports and Andy Belmont Racing, closed up shop at the lunch break on the final day.
