Ryan Wilson

I thought I would kick off the new month with a new routine, a blog. For those who do not know who I am, my name is Ryan Wilson. I’m starting my own diary (if-you will) for the 2011 racing season to keep you my fans and the rest of the racing community up-to-date on my latest happenings on the racing circuit.

I wanted to rewind for a second and start my first blog off with my recent trip where on Sunday, January 23, I was privileged enough to be able to speak to a group of young drivers, like myself, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At first I was nervous about speaking in front of a crowd but as time went by, it seemed a lot easier. I started off by telling them about my racing career, and then shared my experiences throughout the Richard Petty Driver Search, which I ultimately won.

Brad Noffsinger from the driver search was kind enough to be on hand and was in the room with me, also sharing his experiences from his racing career as well as giving the drivers more information on the driver search.

I look forward to being able to speak in public like this again, because of the experience it gained this past weekend at the driver summit. Now that the driver summit is over, its time for me to focus all attention back on my racing.

I am really looking forward to the 2011 season, and i think that it could be my most successful year yet. We already have a few marketing partners on board for the 2011 season, and continue to look for even more as the season nears.

In this sport, it takes a ton of support, not only from the marketing partners, but also from family, friends and most importantly, you, the fans.

I have been lucky enough to have all of these and i hope to gain even more fans as i continue my career.

Thanks to everyone who has showed interest in my racing career up to this point. I definitely would not be able to be here without the continuing support of my family, friends, and fans.

I’ll be back soon with another blog to talk about racing and whatever else I feel I need to write about. We are working on a brand-new RyanWilsonMotorsports.com website and it will be launched in the coming days! We are very excited about the approaching season.
