Millville, NJ (May 21, 2011) ~ Venturini Motorsports will place two international drivers on the starting grid this weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park in hopes of capturing the top spot with podium finishes.

Driving the “V” machines during the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards – ModSpace 150 will be two open-wheeled drivers with extensive road course experience. Australian native, George Miedeke and Northern Ireland native, Allistar (Ali) Jackson will each make their respective ARCA debut’s and challenge the field Sunday afternoon at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Miedeke, who currently races in the UARA Stars Late Model Series, will pilot the No. 25 iSeek Communications car at the 2.25 mile track. As the lead development driver for Marcos Ambrose Motorsports, Miedecke turned his attention to stateside stock car racing in 2010. At just 24 years old, the Aussie clearly has a record that reads like a veteran. In just 14 starts during the 2010 NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Series, Miedeke captured 2 pole-positions, 2 wins and 10 top-10 finishes.

Ali Jackson, who will pilot the No. 55 Lauren Briant Toyota, will make his first stock car start ever. At just 21 years-old, Ali began his professional career competing in the Asian and British Formula 3 Championship Series.

As a rookie, at the age of 17, Ali became the youngest driver to win in series history, capturing 4 victories and 4 pole positions. In 2007 he moved to the competitive British Formula 3 Series and drove for Raikkonen Robertson Racing team where he finished 9th in the point standings. In 2009, Ali attracted the attention of United States based RLR-Andersen Racing, where he competed in the Firestone Indy Lights Series, capturing a season best 6th place finish at Long Beach.

In addition to running selective ARCA races with Venturini Motorsports, Ali is focusing his efforts on capturing a USAC Championship with the legendary Nine Racing Team. Ali will be competing in the USAC Mopar D1 Midget Series under the watchful eye of team owner, Steve Lewis.

In Preparation for the New Jersey’s Thunderbolt Raceway, Miedeke and Jackson tested with Venturini Motorsports at Virginia International Raceway on May 4th. Last year, Venturini Motorsports scored two top-10’s at New Jersey Motorsports Park with drivers Steve Arpin and Mikey Kile.

Race coverage for the ModSpace 150 will being on Sunday, May 22 at 1 pm EST. Follow the team on Twitter at venturinimotor for live updates. Additional race coverage, including live timing, scoring and radio broadcast, can be viewed through the ARCA Racing Network at arcaracing.com
