MILLVILLE, N.J. – The field of ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards stock cars will take the green flag at the signal of a NASCAR veteran and current ARCA team owner. Ken Schrader, a household name in the world of big league stock car racing, has been named Honorary Starter for the “ModSpace 150” on Sunday, May 22 at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The 150-mile race is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

Schrader, owner of the No. 52 Ken Schrader Racing ARCA team, has been participating in NASCAR for more than three decades and owns four career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories to his credit. He remains a part-time participant in NASCAR’s three national touring series, and also races weekly at both dirt and asphalt tracks around the country. Tom Hessert, a Cherry Hill, N.J. native, will pilot Schrader’s No. 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet this weekend in the ModSpace 150.

The Philadelphia Soul “SoulMates” dance team of the Arena Football League has been named Grand Marshals for the ARCA Racing Series event, and team captains Kristina Gines and Alex Payton will say the command to start engines on Sunday. The squad will also perform a special routine during pre-race and will be available for photos with fans during the ARCA driver autograph session from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on Sunday. Pre-race begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by the start of the race at 1 p.m.
