MOORESVILLE, NC (8/15/11) – When the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards makes their annual stop at the Illinois State Fairgrounds for the first of two scheduled dirt-track races in 2011, dirt-track aficionado Sean Corr will be ready for the challenge. Corr, a Rookie of the Year contender on this year’s ARCA tour, is no stranger to racing on dirt, having actively participated in the DIRTcar Series. He enters Sunday’s (8/21) Allen Crowe 100 in his familiar Empire Racing, No. 82 Roush Yates Engines, Nu South Lemonade Ford Fusion.

“Heading back to my roots, dirt track racing at Springfield (Illinois State Fairground) this weekend is really exciting,” said Corr. “I grew up around dirt racing and cut my teeth in the sport at an early age on it. It provides a whole different playing field, and I can’t wait for the race, come Sunday. The race also provides a great venue to introduce our newest partner, Nu South Lemonade, as they join us on board our No. 82 Ford Fusion.”

The Goshen, NY native has even joined the exclusive club of winners at the track. As if Corr’s background and victory at another mile long dirt track weren’t enough, Empire Racing crew has prepared chassis No. 025 especially for this event. 025 is a new car to the 2011 ARCA stable, one that has been specifically fine-tuned for the dirt action.

Sunday, August 21st will mark the 29th Allen Crowe 100 and the 14th race of the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season.
