August 19, 2011 (Concord, NC) – Back-to-back (2009/2010) World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series Champion, Josh Richards prepares to make his third appearance of the season with Venturini Motorsports at the Allen Crowe 100 at the Springfield Fairgrounds on Sunday afternoon.

“I’ve been looking forward to racing at Springfield (and DuQuoin) since the beginning of the year when we set our schedule. We’ve had success with the ARCA and NASCAR Camping World Truck programs but the dirt brings me back to my racing roots and gives me an opportunity to do what I do best!” I’m excited to be back with Venturini and look forward to a great weekend.”

Richards’ ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards appearance on Sunday will cap off a very busy weekend for the Shinnston, West Virginia native. The 23-year old driver will also be competing in two World of Outlaw Late Model Series events in Michigan on Friday and Saturday night before heading to Springfield.

Richards, who earned the ARCA Series Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell and finished third earlier this year at Chicago, will be piloting the No.25 Joy Mining / Manpower to Motorsports Chevrolet this weekend.
