Frank Kimmel Crosses Finish Line Seventh in the Allen Crowe 100
Press ReleaseAs stated, it didn’t take long after the green flag flew for Frank Kimmel to work the Ansell-Menards Ford into the top ten and near the top five when the first caution came out. With as race in such a short time frame, the Kimmel Racing team was aware that keeping track position would be important. That necessity was almost given away during the first pit-stop, as the Ansell-Menards Ford would come into the pits 6th but leave in the 10th position.
The poor pit-stop provided extra motivation for Frank Kimmel to get up on the wheel and it wasn’t two laps after the restart that he had climbed the Ansell-Menards Ford back to 6th in the running order. After another caution and restart, Frank moved the Ansell-Menards Ford around his nephew, Will Kimmel and the Messina Wildlife-Menards Ford, and into 3rd position. Unfortunately, the handling on the Ansell-Menards Ford would recede late in the race, which resulted in Frank losing a few positions before the finish.

With the 7th place finish Frank Kimmel moved back up to 2nd in the ARCA Series Championship Points Standings. Will Kimmel finished 4th in the Messina Wildlife-Menards Ford.
Continue to watch for Frank Kimmel at Madison International Speedway driving the No. 44 Ansell-Menards Ford on August 26th for the Herr’s Live Life for Flavor 200 in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Also, be sure to visit a Menards location to purchase your next pair of Ansell Gloves.
