Ryan Wilson Ready To Continue Surge At Caraway Speedway
Press ReleaseAfter 16 races this season at the historic short track, Wilson has delivered one pole, eight top-fives and 14 top-10 finishes. The one thing that has eluded the rising star is victory. With points not being a top priority for the Ryan Wilson Motorsports (RWM) guys, the team is determined to fight their guts out in Friday night’s 100-lap dash and be the first to take the checkered flag.

All accounts speaking the month of August has seen its ups and downs, but Wilson is hoping that last week’s finishes was the start of the light at the end of the tunnel.
“We needed those finishes last week,” said the 19-year old pilot. “We’ve had our fair share of bad luck this month at Caraway and at Ace Speedway, another local short track. Maybe, just maybe this is the light at the end of the tunnel and we can hammer down from here.”
Earlier this month, Wilson made his third career-start in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards for Win-Tron Racing at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. After starting fifth, Wilson persevered through the 50-lap shootout to finish an impressive ninth, considering the fact that he had never even seen the 2.5-mile triangle before he arrived for competition.
“I had fun competing in the ARCA Racing Series and I’m looking forward to a couple more races near the end of the season,” sounded Wilson. “It gave me a boost for sure, but I’m not satisfied unless we’re celebrating in victory lane. Maybe we can change that story on Friday night.”
He added, “There are many reasons we want to get back to victory lane. My guys work hard and put a lot of time and effort into the program. Randolph Bank has invested in my racing career and I want to deliver them a trophy in the worst way. If we can’t put ourselves in position for the win, we’ll do the best we can to bring home the best finish we possibly can.”
