Frank Kimmel Has a Score to Settle With Toledo Speedway
Press ReleaseIn the spring race, Frank led 125 of the 200 laps and it appeared he was on his way to his tenth win at Toledo. However, contact late by another car would send Frank spinning into a 9th place finish, and a win that was so close managed to escape the nine time ARCA Series Champions grasp.
“Toledo is one of those race tracks I look forward to racing at and have always been competitive at. That was a good race for us and it was tough to have it slip away at the end. Hopefully the outcome will be different if we put ourselves in position to win like we did in April. I can’t put into words how special a win would be this weekend,” commented Frank Kimmel.

“I have a great time visiting with the shoppers and Menards employees. I think the people who come by really enjoy getting to see a real race car and we even let the kids sit inside of it. We’ll also give you a pair of Ansell Gloves free if you purchase another pair inside the Menards store. I have two great sponsors in Ansell and Menards, so it would mean the world to me to get them in victory lane this weekend,” concluded Frank.
Kimmel will be driving the Roush-Yates powered No. 44 Ansell-Menards Ford this weekend that Matt Crafton piloted in the spring race at Toledo. Frank is optimistic that this detail will aid in returning the Ansell-Menards Ford back to the place it deserves, Toledo Speedway’s Victory Lane.
Then finally, at 2:00 pm this Sunday, October 16th, Frank will get his shot at his tenth win in the Ansell-Menards Ford at the Federated Car Care 200 at Toledo Speedway. Also, be sure to visit a Menards location to purchase your next pair of Ansell Gloves.
