NASCAR Nationwide Series (Race 3 of 35)—Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Las Vegas Motor Speedway Notes:
Mike Bliss will be competing in his 215th Nationwide Series event this weekend and his sixth at LVMS.š He has a pole under his belt (2004) and a best finish of 3rd (2003) while running for Joe Gibbs Racing. He posted a 27th-place finish in his most recent outing at the 1.5-mile speedway.š He has completed 91.2% of the total laps in five starts and he has an average finish of 18.0.
Jeff Green will return as driver for the No. 44 team this weekend. Green will be competing in his 281 Nationwide Series event and his seventh at LVMS. In 1997, Green not only won the pole to start the event but also ended the day in Victory Lane. He has completed 99.6% of the total laps in six starts and has an average finish of 8.0.
This Week’s Impalas for Bliss and Green:
Bliss will utilize chassis No. 6 this weekend at LVMS. This chassis was previously a Sprint Cup Red Bull chassis before being converted to a Nationwide Series chassis for TriStar Motorsports.
Jeff Green will pilot chassis No. 1 this weekend. It was last run at Daytona International Speedway.
Driver Appearances in Vegas:
- Jeff Green will participate in an autograph signing at the Stratosphere on Friday, March 4 at 8:00 pm in The Back Alley Bar.
- Mike Bliss will also be signing autographs at 8:00 pm PT on Friday, March 4 at the Back Alley Bar located on the main floor of the Stratosphere Casino|Hotel|Tower.
