LEBANON, Tenn. - NASCAR and Nashville Superspeedway are offering season ticket holders at Nashville Superspeedway a unique opportunity on Tuesday, March 29. They will have a chance to hop in a Richard Petty Driving Experience car as professional instructors drive them around the concrete track at speeds up to 165 mph.

And as of today, a few more guests have signed up to be there to join in on the fun.

Daytona 500 winner, and Knoxville, Tenn. native, Trevor Bayne, along with 2005 Nashville race winner and current NASCAR Natiowide Series points leader Reed Sorenson, and 2003 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil, will be on-site to meet and greet with fans. A select number of fans at the event will be chosen to be in the passenger’s seat as Bayne, Sorenson or Kvapil turns laps on the concrete track.

“This is a great way to reward fans with the exclusive opportunity of one-on-one interaction with our athletes, something all sports fans crave,” said Cliff Hawks, vice president and general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. “Having these drivers in town, interacting with fans, is the perfect way to kick off another exciting season of racing at the Superspeedway.”

Bayne, Sorenson and Kvapil will be visiting Nashville Superspeedway from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

More than 300 current Nashville season ticket holders have signed up to participate in the March 29 “Season Ticket Test Session, presented by Pizza Hut.” A limited supply of free rides for the event remain available for new season ticket customers, and can be obtained by calling 1-866-RACE-TIX. Participants will be scheduled for either morning or afternoon sessions when they call the ticket office. The deadline to register is March 18, 2011.

New for 2011, season tickets are just $129 for adults and only $40 for juniors under 14. A season ticket package includes tickets to all four NASCAR events, and an ALL ACCESS pass for NASCAR Nationwide Series events, Fan Walk access for all events and a season parking pass, among other great amenities.

Bayne, Sorenson, Kvapil and the rest of the stars from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series will return to the track just under one month later for the April 22-23, 2011 NASCAR race weekend. Tickets for the July 22-23, 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series-NASCAR Nationwide Series doubleheader are also available by calling 1-866-RACE-TIX or visiting NashvilleSuperspeedway.com.
