2011 NNS O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 First Practice Session Speeds
Timing & Scoring
Stenhouse’s Roush Fenway Racing teammate, Carl Edwards, with a lap speed of 180.517 mph, was second fastest, and was followed by David Reutimann (180.090) who was third fastest, Trevor Bayne (180.078) fourth fastest and Kasey Kahne (180.078) was fifth fastest.
Rounding out the top-ten fastest were Elliott Sadler (179.988) who was sixth fastest, Paul Menard (179.826) seventh, Kyle Busch (179.730) eighth, Joey Logano (178.867) ninth and Sam Hornish Jr. (178.867) was tenth fastest.
The teams will return later this evening for their second practice session, which is scheduled to run from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (EST). Then the teams will be back on Friday for two more practice sessions (10:30 AM-11:45 AM and “Happy Hour”-12:15 PM – 1:50 PM -EST) qualifying (5:05 PM-EST) and then the race which is schedule to get underway a little after 8:30 PM (EST).
