The Headlines:

Former Talladega Winner Returns: Michael Annett revisits the legendary Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, a track where he was victorious in 2007 winning the ARCA RE/MAX 250 under the banner of loyal sponsor Pilot Travel Centers. Annett’s victory came after securing a starting spot on the outside pole and leading 75 laps of the 94 lap race. Saturday afternoon’s Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 will be Annett’s third career Nationwide Series start on Talladega’s 2.66 mile superspeedway.

A First for Toyota at Talladega: Not only was Michael Annett’s Talladega Superspeedway victory memorable because it was his first ever win in the series, but Annett also marked the record books by bringing Toyota to victory lane for the first time in ARCA Racing Series history.

Superspeedway Success: Michael Annett’s win at Talladega Superspeedway was his first of two victories on a NASCAR sanctioned superspeedway, with his second being in the 2008 ARCA 200 on the famed banks of Daytona International Speedway. Longtime supporter Pilot Travel Centers was on board with Annett for both of these trips to the winners circle.

Meet and Greet with Michael Annett: Fans have the opportunity to meet Pilot Flying J driver Michael Annett on Friday at the Lincoln, Ala. Pilot Travel Center (121 Honda Drive). Located just seven miles from the track, Pilot Travel Centers will host Annett for autographs from 5-6 p.m. local time on Friday, April 15.
