TriStar Motorsports’ Richmond Preview:
Mike Bliss:
- Mike Bliss will be competing in his 221st career Nationwide Series event this weekend and his 13th at Richmond International Raceway.š In 12 NNS races he has completed 93.8% of the total laps and has scored one top-five and four top-10 finishes.š He has also led 62 laps around the .75-mile speedway.
- Bliss’s last outing at RIR was in 2010 when he was driving for Key Motorsports.š He scored a 40th-place finish as a result of an engine failure.
Jeff Green:
- Jeff Green will be competing in his 287th Nationwide Series event and his 20th at RIR.š In 19 events, he has completed 86.7% of the total laps and has scored one win, four top-five, and six top-10 finishes at the speedway.
- Green’s last appearance at RIR came in 2008 when he drove the No. 31 car for Key Motorsports; he started the race in the 22nd position and finished 38th.
This Week’s Impalas for Bliss and Green:
- Bliss will again utilize chassis No. 6 this weekend. He drove it last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway where an electrical issue relegated him to a 31st-place finish.
- Green will pilot chassis No. 105.š He ran it last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway.
Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown to Serve as Associate Sponsor of TriStar
- TriStar Motorsports Welcomes Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown as an Associate Sponsor for both Nationwide Series races at RIR.
- The HGI Richmond Downtown logo will appear on the lower quarter panels of the No. 19 car as well as the No. 14 car driven by teammate Eric McClure.
