Danny Efland to Drive for Go Green Racing

Nationwide driver Danny Efland announced today that he will be racing at Darlington International Raceway in the NASCAR Nationwide event on Friday May 6th. Danny has been asked to drive the Go Green Racing #39 Ford Mustang.

“It is a real honor to be selected by a top 30 team such as Go Green Racing,” said Danny, “ I have run the ‘Lady In Black’ a couple of times and feel that it is my home track. Hopefully we ‘ll have a great race.”

Sponsoring the effort will be C3i Sports of Columbia, South Carolina together with a soon to be announced associate sponsor. C3i Sports is a software company that creates computerized systems to help track professional athlete’s performance, conditioning, and progress. Company CEO, Kevin Yates said “We are really looking forward to working with Danny again at Darlington. His effort last year was very beneficial to us and we look for another great result.”

Danny Efland is a senior engineering student at the University of South Carolina and has 33 Nationwide starts to date. He hopes to become a full time NASCAR driver upon completing his degree.
