TriStar Motorsports’ “Lady in Black” Preview:
Mike Bliss:
- Mike Bliss will be competing in his 222nd career Nationwide Series event this weekend and his 10th at Darlington Raceway. In nine NNS races he has completed 87.5% of the total laps and has scored one top-five and three top-10 finishes.
- Bliss was involved in an accident shortly after halfway during last year’s Royal Purple 200 that relegated him to a 32nd-place finish
Jeff Green:
- Jeff Green will be competing in his 288th Nationwide Series event and his 18th at Darlington Raceway. In 17 events, he has completed 93% of the total laps and has scored one win, five top-five, and nine top-10 finishes at the speedway.
- Green’s last appearance at Darlington Raceway came in 2009 when he drove for Key Motorsports; he started the race in the 32nd position and finished 23rd.
This Week’s Impalas for Bliss and Green:
- Bliss will again utilize chassis No. 6. He used it last weekend at Richmond International Raceway where he scored an 18th-place finish.
- Green will pilot chassis No. 105. He too ran this chassis last weekend at Richmond International Raceway.
