NASCAR Nationwide Series (Race 11 of 34)—Dover International Speedway
Bliss / Green Head to “The Monster”:
Mike Bliss:
o Mike Bliss will be competing in his 223rd career Nationwide Series event this weekend and his 13th at Dover International Speedway. In 12 NNS races he has completed 99.7% of the total laps and has scored four top-five and six top-10 finishes.
o Bliss has a best start of 3rd (2009) and has two runner-up finishes (2008 & 2009).
Jeff Green:
o Jeff Green will be competing in his 289th Nationwide Series event and his 18th at Dover International Speedway.š In 17 events, he has completed 74.4% of the total laps and has scored one win, five top-five, and eight top-10 finishes at the speedway.
o Green has two career poles (2001 and 2002) at the one-mile track and his only win came during the fall event in 2001.
This Week’s Impalas for Bliss and Green:
o Bliss will utilize chassis No. 8. This will be the first time this chassis has been used by TriStar Motorsports; it was previously a Sprint Cup chassis used by Red Bull.
o Green will pilot chassis No. 105.š He ran this chassis last weekend at Darlington Raceway.
