Bliss / Green Ready for Trip to Michigan
Mike Bliss
:- Mike Bliss will be competing in his 227th career Nationwide Series event this weekend and his sixth at the two-mile D-shaped oval. In five NNS races he has completed 99.5% of the total laps and has scored two top-10 finishes.
- Bliss has a best start of 11th (2003 & 2004) and has a best finish of 6th (2008)
Jeff Green:
- Jeff Green will be competing in his 292nd Nationwide Series event and his 10th at the speedway.In nine events, he has completed 98.3% of the total laps and has scored one top-10 finish. Green has also led 4 laps around the two-mile track.
- Green’s last trip at MIS came in 2007 when he competed for Jay Robinson Racing. He started 34th and finished in the 26th position.
This Week’s Impalas for Bliss and Green:
- Crew Chief Paul Clapprood has chosen to utilize chassis No. 10 this weekend for Bliss.š This chassis was used two weeks ago at Chicagoland Speedway where an unscheduled pit stop and a flat left rear tire relegated him to a 22nd-place finish.
- Todd Myers, crew chief of the No. 44 Impala, has chosen chassis No. 105 for this weekend’s event. This chassis was last used by Angela Cope at Iowa Speedway.
