Making Noise in “Music City”… In April earlier this year, Kenny Wallace made his first of two scheduled 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) appearances at Nashville Superspeedway, driving the No. 09 Toyota Camry for RAB Racing with Brack Maggard. The event marked the first time Wallace had competed at the fast 1.333-mile Tennessee track with Toyota-power under the hood, and it resulted in a team-best 12th-place finish in Nashville for the young RAB Racing team. Since April, Wallace has continued to make noise in the Nationwide Series, posting six finishes inside the top-10 in the last 11 races. In this Saturday night’s NNS Federated Auto Parts 300, Wallace will be back to race for a second shot at claiming the top-spot at Nashville as he pilots the No. 09 featuring race sponsor, Federated Auto Parts, for the second time this year.

Keeping Tabs… In 19 NNS events thus far, Wallace and RAB Racing have been hitting their stride as the Nationwide Series nears the midway point of its long summer stretch. After a sixth-place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last weekend, the RAB Racing team looks to build on the top-10 results over the past three weeks and climb to the top of the charts by the end of the Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Superspeedway. Wallace, who is competing full-time for RAB Racing this season, currently holds the seventh position in the NNS driver point standings. RAB Racing continues to have its most successful season since joining the Nationwide Series full-time in 2009. The No. 09 maintains 13th in the NNS owner point standings.

Nashville Details…

· Wallace will be making his 17th Nationwide Series career-start this Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, and second start driving for RAB Racing.

· In 16 previous NNS events, Wallace has accumulated two top-five and four top-10 finishes.

· Wallace’s best-finishes at Nashville came in 2005, when Wallace finished second in both of the events held at the 1.333-mile track that year.
· RAB Racing will compete for the sixth time at Nashville this weekend. RAB Racing had a solid performance in the April Nashville race with Wallace, starting 11th and finishing 12th.
