ML Motorsports To Honor Fallen Terre Haute, Indiana Officer

Warsaw, IN – ML Motorsports will be carrying a special decal at Lucas Oil Raceway to honor Brent Long, a Terre Haute, Indiana police officer who was killed in the line of duty.
“They were serving the arrest warrant when suddenly shots rang out against the officers from who we believe was the suspect they were looking for,” said state police Sgt. Joe Watts.
Long and his dog, Shadow were shot in the exchange. Long was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute, where he later died.
Long, a six-year police veteran, also was a member of the department’s SWAT team and leaves behind a family.
