K-Love Radio as primary sponsor this weekend….. Contemporary Christian music radio station K-Love will be the primary sponsor this weekend for the MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 Dodge driven by Blake Koch. K-Love was a great sponsor last year and it’s great so see them back on the race car this weekend. K-Love is a listener supported radio station that communicates the Gospel through mass media, leading as many people as possible toward salvation and spiritual growth. Daystar Television Network will continue their partnership with Blake as an associate sponsor on the No. 81 as well.

MacDonald Motorsports @ Indy…. Pat and Randy MacDonald have made 7 starts at the tricky .686 mile track in the heart of open wheel country. The best result for the team came just last year with Michael McDowell behind the wheel as Michael drove the K-Love No. 81 to a solid 20th place finish.

Blake Koch on Indy….. “Lucas Oil Raceway looks like a tough little track but I know my guys are going to give me a strong race car. I’m excited about K-Love being on the car this weekend and to see the Newsboys at the race track. They’re an awesome band that I’ve been listening to for a long time.”

Nashville Wrap-Up….. Nashville turned out to be a trying weekend for Blake and the Daystar.com team. They had a fast racecar but a broker alternator wire put them many laps down and out of contention for a good run. When the checkered flag finally flew, Blake was credited with a hard fought 27th place result.

The Newsboys…. Grammy nominated Christian Pop band the Newsboys will be guests of K-Love and MacDonald Motorsports at Lucas Oil Raceway this weekend. The band will begin their summer tour this Friday, July 29th in Chicago, IL. The guys will be performing an acoustic show and signing autographs at the K-Love tent at 1:30 on Saturday.
