McClure Ready for Road Course Redemption:
- Saturday’s event will mark Eric McClure’s 161st- career start and his second at the 15-turn road course.
- The 32-year-old driver was unable to participate in last year’s event as he was recovering from a concussion suffered the week at Bristol Motor Speedway.
- In 2009, McClure recorded a 22nd-place finish after starting the 74-lap event in the 41st position.
- Following last weekend’s accident at Watkins Glen, the TriStar Motorsports team has elected to use chassis No. 7 in this weekend’s event.š This chassis was last used at Nashville Superspeedway where the team scored a 23rd-place finish.

“I am really excited to get to Montreal, especially since I wasn’t able to run last season. Montreal is a great city and the track is a fun one to race. I really enjoyed my first time there in 2009. The fan turnout is also spectacular and it really is a shame that this appears to be the last event there. I’m looking forward to hopefully getting a much better result than we had at Watkins Glen.”
