Trois-Rivieres, August 18th, 2011 – Canadian driver Louis-Philippe (nickname LP) Dumoulin will be making his debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at the NAPA AUTO PARTS 200 event, to be held in Montreal on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this Saturday, August 20th at 2:30 PM.

The youngest of the Dumoulin brothers will also be participating in the Canadian Tire NASCAR Series of the same event behind the wheel of car No. 47 Maskimo/Protection Incendie MCI. « We are thankful to Jimmy Means and Means Motorsports for this opportunity to participate in a Nationwide race with car n°52. This season, in four NASCAR Canadian Tire races, LP Dumoulin made two Top-5′s and one Top-10. In his last race at the Grand-Prix of Trois-Rivières (GP3R.com), he was among the 3 leaders. LP Dumoulin competes also in the Grand-Am series and had participated to the prestigious Rolex 24 hours at Daytona in GT class. LP Dumoulin as well-known for having won the 2002 Canadian Formula Ford Championship, rewriting the record book with 6 wins, a record for poles won and another one for laps led. He is also a professional driver coach.
