2011 NNS NAPA Auto Parts 200 First Practice Session Speeds

Owen Kelly (filling in for last week’s first-time NSCS race winner Marcos Ambrose who is in Michigan for Cup practice) was second fastest with a lap speed of 94.813 mph, and was followed by Alex Tagliani (94.745) who was third fastest, Boris Said (94.735) fourth fastest and Jacques Villeneuve (94.702) was the fifth fastest.
Rounding out the top-10 fastest during practice were Scott Speed (94.572) who was sixth fastest, Patrick Carpentier (94.468) seventh, Steve Wallace (94.461) eighth, Billy Johnson (94.329 – filling in for Carl Edwards who is in Michigan for Cup practice) ninth and Robby Gordon (94.157) posting the tenth fastest lap speed.
The teams will have their “Happy Hour” (final) practice session from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT) this afternoon, and then return later for their 5:05 PM (EDT) scheduled qualifying session.
The NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge is scheduled to get underway approximately around 2:50 PM (EDT) on Saturday afternoon.
