Jacques Villeneuve, with a qualifying lap speed of 95.800 mph, captured his first career NNS Coors Light Pole Award, and will lead the field for Saturday’s NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Sharing the front row with Villeneuve and starting second with a qualifying lap speed of 95.673 mph, will be Alex Tagliani, followed by Jason Leffler (95.457) starting from third, Scott Speed (95.346) fourth and Michael McDowell (95.273) starting from fifth.

Rounding out the top-ten starting positions will be Robby Gordon (95.271) who will start from sixth, Steve Wallace ( 95.155) seventh, Patrick Carpentier (95.149 ) eighth, Owen Kelly (95.087) ninth and Justin Allgaier (95.071) will start from the tenth postion.

Failing to make the starting lineup were the #03 driven by Jean Francois Dumoulin; the #21 driven by Tim George Jr.; the #41 driven by Tomy Drissi(i); the #55 driven by Brett Rowe and the #42 driven by Chase Miller.

The teams will return to the track Saturday afternoon for the  2:50 PM (EDT) approximate start of the NAPA Auto Parts 200.
