SHELBY, N.C. (August 29, 2011) – Cory Howe, a crew member of the No. 50 MAKE Motorsports Chevrolet team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series was treated and released from Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.on Friday, August 26. He is now at home resting.

Howe was injured last Friday performing adjustments underneath the car during NASCAR Nationwide Series practice at the Bristol Motor Speedway. He was treated with stitches for lacerations to his face and hands. All tests for severe injury came back negative.
