Schick Xtreme3 To Sponsor Ryan Truex For NASCAR Nationwide Series Race In Atlanta With Joe Gibbs Racing

Truex is currently slated to drive in a total of six Nationwide Series races for JGR this season, with the first coming on the 1.5-mile oval track in Atlanta during Labor Day Weekend. In addition to Atlanta, Truex is set to drive the No. 20 Nationwide Series Toyota in Richmond, Chicago, Dover, Kansas, and Phoenix.
“Having Schick Xtreme3 come on board with me for Atlanta is exciting,” said Truex. “Schick Xtreme3 is all about performance and flexibility, the same things I’ll focus on out there on the racetrack! I can’t wait to get back competing with Joe Gibbs Racing in the #20 Schick Xtreme3 Toyota Camry.”
Truex has excelled at every level of racing, as he won two K&N Pro Series East Championships for Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) in 2009 and 2010. In 2009 he joined now JGR teammate, Joey Logano, as the only driver to win both K&N Pro Series Rookie of the Year honors and the Championship in the same year. He made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in 2010, earning an outside pole at Michigan and three top-15 finishes in just his first seven races.
Truex is the younger brother of Martin Truex Jr. who currently drives the No. 56 Toyota in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
