Carl Edwards tamed “the Monster Mile” Saturday afternoon, as he won the NNS OneMain Financial 200 in dominate fashion.

Edwards, who led 179 laps of the 200 that were run, received his 7th series win of the 2011 season, his 36th series career win and his 3rd series win at Dover International Speedway.

Following Edwards to the drop of the checkered flag were Brad Keselowski (finishing 0.791 seconds behind) coming in second, Clint Bowyer third, Kasey Kahne fourth and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (who now leads Elliott Sadler by 22 points in the standings) finishing in the fifth position.

Rounding out the top-ten finishing positions were Trevor Bayne finishing in sixth, Reed Sorenson seventh, Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Ryan Truex eighth, Mike Bliss ninth and Justin Allgaier finishing in tenth.
