2011 NNS Kansas Lottery 300 First Practice Session Speeds

Second on the speed charts with a lap speed of 165.720 mph, was Carl Edwards, followed by Paul Menard (165.234) who was third, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (164.986) fourth and Jason Leffler (164.916) was fifth
Rounding out the top-ten fastest during practice were Brian Vickers (164.896) who was sixth fastest, Elliott Sadler (164.885) seventh, Kevin Harvick (164.820) eighth, David Stremme (164.319) ninth and Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Ryan Truex (164.249) was the tenth fastest on the speed charts.
“Happy Hour” (final) practice for the teams is scheduled to run 30 mins after this session (3:45 PM – 5:00 PM-EDT) and then the teams will return to the track Saturday morning for their 10:05 PM (EDT) qualifying session to determine the starting lineup for that afternoon’s race (which is set to get underway approximately at 3:50 PM-EDT).
