Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month

- In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 32-year-old Virginia driver will be racing for his aunt, Loretta Copper, in Friday night’s Dollar General 300 Miles for Courage at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

- A two-time survivor of breast cancer, Cooper was first diagnosed in 1985 and later in 2010. On each occasion, she was forced to have a mastectomy but, since then, she has been in remission.

Eric McClure’s Pre-Race quotes:

“We really need to turn our luck around this weekend in Charlotte so we can secure ourselves in the top 20 in driver standings. We struggled with this car at Charlotte in the spring, but we’ve had some of our better runs of late with it. Hopefully, we can have a competitive race, have nothing go wrong, and set ourselves up with something positive heading into the off weeks.”
