2011 NNS WYPALL 200 First Practice Session Speeds
Timing & Scoring
Bayne’s Roush Fenway Racing teammate, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., was second quickest with a lap speed of 129.538 mph, and was followed by Elliott Sadler (129.227) who was third quickest, Carl Edwards (129.116) fourth quickest and Sam Hornish Jr. (128.875) was the fifth quickest.
Rounding out the top-ten quickest during practice were Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Ryan Truex (128.861 mph) who was sixth quickest, Aric Almirola (128.857) seventh, Clint Bowyer (128.801) eighth, James Buescher (128.682) ninth and Mike Bliss (128.617) posting the tenth quickest lap speed.
The teams will have one more practice session this evening (5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – ET) before returning on Friday afternoon for their 3:40 PM – 5:20 PM (ET) scheduled “Happy Hour” (final) practice session.
Qualifying will take place Saturday afternoon at 12:05 PM (ET) to determine the starting lineup for the WYPALL 200, which is scheduled to get underway approximately around 3:50 PM (ET) that day.
