COLUMBUS, OH. (Feb. 02, 2011) RACER Magazine released the latest installment of teen racer Zach Veach’s exclusive diary Wednesday titled, “Success Doesn’t Happen Over Night.” Veach’s diary release coincides with the announcement that his sponsor, Zakosi Data Backup, will be giving away a free Apple iPad to one of Veach’s fans/followers through Social Media on March 3.

In Veach’s second exclusive Diary with RACER Magazine, he joins the lineup of bloggers that include NASCAR’s AJ Allmendinger, Penske Racing’s Tim Cindric, and IZOD IndyCar Series drivers, Graham Rahal and Paul Tracy. He shares the message of his first trip across the finish line in the USF2000 National Championship Series, where he went on to capture the USF2000 Winterfest Points Championship earlier this year.

One lucky fan will be reading Veach’s March RACER Magazine diary on a new Apple iPad, named by Popular Science magazine as the Top Gadget of 2010. Veach’s sponsor of his #7 Andretti Autosport Mazda, Zakosi Data Backup, announced they would be awarding a free iPad to one of Veach’s Twitter followers or Facebook fans to commemorate the release of his new book, 99 THINGS TEENS WISH THEY KNEW BEFORE TURNING 16. Zakosi will award the iPad, also named one of the 50 “Best Inventions” of 2010 by TIME Magazine, on the book’s release date, March 2.

For those hoping to win the Apple iPad, which will come loaded with an electronic copy of Veach’s book, an Andretti Autosport team hat, and a Zach Veach Official T-Shirt, should become a fan of Veach on Facebook or a follower of his Twitter account @ZachVeach by Mar. 2.

Veach is set to release his first book, 99 THINGS TEENS WISH THEY KNEW BEFORE TURNING 16, on March 2 with the foreword provided by Veach’s team owner, Michael Andretti.
