Andrew Smith Finishes 12th At Greenville-Pickens Speedway
Press Release
Smith started 22nd and worked his way quickly into the top 15 positions. “I really had to make some aggressive moves on the restarts,” Smith said after the race. “Those guys up front were strong all weekend so congratulations to them on a good run. There’s a bunch of talented racers in the Series again this year, and I thought everyone really put on a great show tonight.”
“I want to say a huge thanks to David Ifft, Ryan Farbo and the crew guys for helping me get prepared for this weekend,” Smith said. “Everyone did a great job working to get me a car ready in a short amount of time.
“We wanted to get out of here with a good finish for SavannahPawn.com and Kids Charity of Tampa Bay. We’re not happy with 12th but we drove it on the transporter and that’s always a good sign after a short-track race,” he said.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will return to the track for the South Boston 150 at South Boston (Va.) Speedway on Saturday, April 16.
