“K&N Pro Series, Whelen Southern Modified Tour To Run Sunday”

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (April 16, 2011) — The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour races scheduled for Saturday at South Boston Speedway have been postponed to Sunday.

Rain moved into the South Boston area Saturday morning. With the forecast calling for potential severe weather Saturday afternoon, the garage will close for both series at 1 p.m. The garage will re-open Sunday at 10 a.m., with practice and qualifying scheduled for mid-day prior to the pair of 150-lap races.

The K&N Pro Series East South Boston 150 is slated for a green flag at 3 p.m., followed by the Whelen Southern Modified Tour South Boston 150 at approximately 4:15 p.m.
