Ryan Wilson Ready To Hammer Down At Caraway
Press ReleaseAfter wheeling his Ryan Wilson Motorsports (RWM) machine to second in the championship standings at the NASCAR-sanctioned track, Wilson, the Randleman, North Carolina native is anxious to return to victory lane. With the importance of this weekend’s event, Wilson’s determination to triumph can literally be seen through his eyes.
“I’ve been ready and literally itching to get back to racing for a while,” said Wilson, winner of last Fall’s Richard Petty Driver Search II. “This is a huge race for us and the Randolph Bank Racing team this weekend. I’m ready for it to be here. Winning a Super Five race is a big deal to me, our team and everyone else who supports us. Hopefully, we can pull it off on Sunday.”
Sunday’s Super 5 showdown presents great challenges and benefits. Competing against some of the best of the best in the state, not to mention plenty of side-by-side racing for nearly 200 laps, Wilson is eager to show that his RWM operation can win at one the track’s most anticipated contests.

Recently, Ryan Wilson Motorsports (RWM) and Randolph Bank, the home of extra-mile banking announced the “Design The Ride” contest which will allow the children of Randolph Bank to design Ryan Wilson’s No. 12 Randolph Bank Toyota Camry for July’s NASCAR Whelen-All American Series Super Five Series race at Caraway (N.C.) Speedway.
Open to children to the ages of six to 14 beginning May 16th and ending June 13th, “Design the Ride” coloring sheets will be available at participating Randolph Bank branches in North Carolina, RyanWilsonMotorsports.com and RandolphBank.com.
“We’re going to promote this thing to the end,” Wilson explained. “It’s really neat to work with our sponsor Randolph Bank, their customers and their kids too. It brings our racing family that much closer together.”
Qualifying for Sunday’s Super Five Late Model race is scheduled for Saturday, May 21st with the green flag set to waive the following day immediately following the Limited Late Model race which lifts off at 2:00 p.m.
