SHERRILLS FORD, North Carolina (October 26, 2011)- After taking a weekend off to reenergize and prepare for the final three races of the year, Jesse Little and the Leavitt Racing Chassis team head to Concord Speedway for 150-laps of United Auto Racing Association action this Saturday night.

The break gave Little and his crew time to go over their Chevrolet with an aim towards putting a car on the track that could continue to run at the front of the pack, he said.

“We’ve had completely different set-ups (in recent weeks) from our last trips to Concord. For this weekend we’ve changed quite a bit of the front geometry in the car and played with our bump stops a bit. Of course we have gotten our maintenance done and all the normal things you would do to prepare for a race. If we’ve made the right adjustments I believe we’ll have a good chance to win.”

Hitting the right combination for an event where many of the regions best late model drivers will be out to accomplish the same goals is a big key to potential success, Little added.

“Concord is a very unique and unforgiving track. We’ll really have to be on our toes there when we unload the car. Picking up a win this weekend would be a big momentum boost for our team going into these last couple of races in the year.”

After running nearly every weekend since the beginning of September, the recent break has given time for Little to think of the remaining schedule including stops at Myrtle Beach for 250 laps of main event racing and a trip Rockingham with the UARA series.

“I have been going over the upcoming races in my mind and we’ve gone back and looked over our notes form those tracks. One key will be getting familiar to the tracks we haven’t been to in some time (such as Myrtle Beach) and working towards a solid result.”

One benefit to running Martinsville and other high-profile tracks is dialing in the team and his driving approach for a run in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series starting in 2012, Little noted.

“I believe that running the big races we’ve been in and will enter to close out the season is definitely helping our team. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series is just as competitive as the last couple of races we’ve run and this schedule we’re running of late are good for our team as it helps to build confidence in our potential heading into next year.”
