However, one thing is certain; Mooresville, NC based NASCAR Nationwide Series Team MacDonald Motorsports (MM) is looking forward to the 2012 season.

Randy MacDonald team owner of Mac Donald Motorsports and former NASCAR Driver is excited about the future of MacDonald Motorsports. “We had a great season in 2011 says McDonald, as we began to reposition our program and lay the foundation and blueprint for the future of our race team, we were able to run competitively in the top-15, and going into the final race of the season at Homestead/Miami Speedway, our rookie driver Blake Koch is in contention to take the “NNS Rookie of the Year title”. Said Mac Donald. As Mac Donald Motorsports will be moving on from Koch in 2012, the team’s planned expansion leaves opportunities available for drivers and employees alike.

“In this economy it is difficult for any team to secure a sponsor. It ‘s a shame things have become so expensive and almost out of reach for most drivers’ dream of becoming the next ‘NASCAR star’, so we are trying our best to run a smart business and facilitate those dreams”.
