Charlie Kimball 22nd in Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
Press ReleaseST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 27, 2011) – Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing (NNCGR) driver, Charlie Kimball finished 22nd in the IZOD IndyCar Series Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 27th.
Kimball started the race from the 22nd position and would gain 10 positions early in the race. He had the No. 83 Levemir and NovoLog FlexPen running in 12th position when contact with the wall on lap 38 ended his day.
After the finish, Kimball is 22nd in the IZOD IndyCar Series point standings.
Up next for the Novo Nordisk team is Round 2 of the IZOD IndyCar Series at the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park Sunday, April 10th (3:00 p.m. ET, VERSUS).
