In late 2012, the Museum of Nature & Science will open the new Perot Museum of Nature & Science, a 180,000-square foot facility, filled with ten permanent exhibition halls that include extensive information about engineering, energy, earth, and life sciences. One of the current Museum’s most popular areas, and undoubtedly one of the future Museum’s most anticipated spaces, is the Children’s Museum. In this area, the youngest visitors will playfully enjoy discovering their world through dynamic interactions with objects and phenomena, while developing literacy, science and math skills.
Funds will help support the design development and the educational programming within the Children’s Museum, thus improving and expanding the Museum’s overall early childhood education initiatives. The Michael Andretti Foundation is proud to support the Museum and help them “Inspire Minds Through Nature & Science”. For more information on the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science please visit http://www.natureandscience.org.
