Andy and I are very excited to formally announce that we are expecting! At four months along, baby and I are doing great. It has been tremendously hard to not spill the news before now, we just wanted to make sure we were safely on base before sharing with our racing family.

One of the best experiences so far, has been when Andy and I heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time! It is extraordinary to hear a heartbeat besides your own coming from within. My doctor has been wonderful, answering the multiple questions that a first time parent would have. Many of those including the obvious travel questions to see if I am going to miss any races! One of the most interesting questions for me will be answered before the Indianapolis 500, what is the gender?

Due on September 29th, we have a lot of preparation to welcome the newest member of SFR! But, both our families have been and are very excited about the news and are looking forward to being a part of our journey into parenthood. Andy and I have both been looking forward to this exciting time and we are very proud to be lucky to be blessed with expecting this soon.
