INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, May 256 2011) – For the third consecutive year, Angie’s List is sponsoring hometown favorite Sarah Fisher Racing in the Indianapolis 500 mile race.

“We’re steadfast supporters of Sarah Fisher Racing and will be pulling for Ed Carpenter,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “It’s great to see Indianapolis represented so well at the track this year.”

Carpenter is taking the wheel of the No. 67 Dollar General Honda-powered Dallara. He will start the race Sunday from Row 3 in the 8^th starting position, the highest starting position in the history of SFR. It will be Carpenter’s eighth start on the famed 2.5-mile oval.

This is the fourth year Angie’s List has sponsored a driver in the race famously dubbed as “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” In 2008, the Angie’s List car, driven by Oriol Servia, finished 11^th in the race. Fisher finished 17^th in 2009; mechanical troubles ended her race in 2010.
