Former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car owner Ray Evernham has filed a $19 million lawsuit against his former business parter George Gillett to collect what he feels he is owed for his portion of a former version of the Richard Petty Motorsports team.

Richard Petty Motorsports was reincarnated during this past offseason into a team owned by seven-time championship driver Richard Petty and a group of investors Petty got together to take over the team from majority owner Gillett. A former incarnation of the team, though, was formed through a merging of the then-Petty Enterprises and Gillett-Evernham Motorsports. - Full Story by Amanda Vincent
