Joe Gibbs Racing Headquarters Open To Fans With 20% Off All Non-Sale Items in Team Store

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 8, 2011) – Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) will open the doors to its Huntersville, NC based headquarters from Noon to 2 PM on Saturday March 12 as part of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Charlotte SpeedFest.

Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) will have shuttles running from the festivities at the track to JGR’s shop at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. In addition, fans are welcome to drive themselves to the team’s Huntersville headquarters.

In celebration of JGR’s 20th Anniversary the team will offer fans 20% off non-sale items in their gift shop, which includes a new line of 20th Anniversary apparel.

The 2011 GameStop showcar and trailer will be out front of the building which includes gaming stations with access to PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii games including Grand Turismo 3. In addition, the lobby will be open for self-guided tours with a large viewing area of the team’s shop floor. Fans will also have an opportunity to get an up close look at the team’s showcars, which will be on display in the lobby and watch JGR’s 2010 highlight video in the auditorium.

CMS will be hosting Charlotte SpeedFest from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Speedway with track tours, monster truck rides, live music, a petting zoo, and autograph sessions with NASCAR celebrities including Kyle Petty and David Pearson.
