Long Pond, PA ( May 9, 2011) ― Pocono Raceway is partnering once again with Destination Pocono to offer local transportation for residents and tourists to both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Pocono Raceway in 2011. Destination Pocono will provide 11 pick-up locations for the June 12, Pocono 500 and the August 7, Pennsylvania 500.   This service not only alleviates traffic into the race track but also allows people a service of both convenience and safety while reducing carbon emissions.

For only $35.00 per person, race fans will be able to meet a bus at the designated location that is most convenient to them.  The bus will enter the track quickly via a bus lane as well as exit after the race in the same bus lane to beat the traffic.  Your driver will remain with the bus for easy refills of your cooler and to store any memorabilia you wish to bring home with you.  The best part is that the bus actually takes a trip around the track that everyone on board is sure to enjoy.

Destination Pocono is offering the following pick-up locations to choose from: Wilkes-Barre, Montage Mountain, Downtown Scranton, Delaware Water Gap, Mount Pocono, Tannersville, Milford, Greentown/Hawley, White Haven, Hazleton and Easton.  Destination Pocono can now book several race ticket packages along with local transportation to consumers.
