Greg Biffle, 2011 NSCS AdvoCare 500 Race Preview
Press ReleasePuccia on Atlanta: “Atlanta is kind of a typical 1.5-mile track except that it is work out quite a bit which makes tire management important. Track position is crucial there just like it is everywhere else but you also have to keep in mind that the tires are going to wear out quickly and that can affect the pit strategy. We have two practices during the day and the race will go into the night so understanding that the track conditions will be different is also something to consider. The track is really fast so it is important and difficult to get the handling where it needs to be. This is a track that separates the boys from the men.”
