Biffle on Richmond: “Richmond is definitely a driver’s track. I think that’s one of the biggest reasons I have always liked it. It allows for really good racing and the night race this weekend will be exciting for the fans no matter what. We struggled there a little the last couple of years but when we raced at Richmond in the spring, we were able to race our way into the top five before our pit strategy didn’t work out and we ended up 15th. I know the guys have been working hard to make sure we don’t have the same problems again and I have high expectations for this weekend.”

Puccia on Richmond: “We’re taking the car that we raced earlier this year in New Hampshire and we’ll work off of the notes from the team’s good run in the spring. Richmond has two distinct grooves that allow for good, side-by-side racing. Track position is crucial so we know that we can’t let it get away from us if we are able to race up front. We’ll have a strategy going into the race but it will be important to be able to adjust according to our circumstances and the way the race unfolds.”

• • Biffle is currently 15th in the Sprint Cup point standings following his 12th-place finish in Atlanta. He is 70 points out of the 10th position with one race remaining until the Chase.
