Mooresville, NC (September, 13, 2011) – Josh Wise will make his first qualifying attempt in the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the GEICO 400 in Chicagoland this weekend driving the No. 37 Bradley University Ford Fusion. The BU Braves and Bradley University logos, known to more than 62,000 alumni, will be prominently displayed on the Sprint Cup car in an effort to bring National awareness to Bradley’s Sports Communication program.

Wise, 28, currently is 15^th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and shares the No. 7 Nationwide ride with teammate Danica Patrick.

Sports Communication students will be assisting the team at the Chicagoland event. Max Q Motorsports Team Owner, Larry Gunselman, states, “We welcome Bradley University students to Chicagoland to experience first hand the excitement of NASCAR Sprint Cup racing and to learn more about career opportunities in our sport.”
