Ragan on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway: “Returning to Charlotte is always special since it’s a hometown race and one I always enjoy. We had a great speedweeks in May with the All-Star and Coke 600 and we hope to improve our finishing position and come away with a win. There are just a few races left in the season, so it would be great to get a win for our UPS team. I’d love to get one racing under the lights at Charlotte in our UPS Freight Ford.”

Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway: “We ran well in the All-Star race and the Coke 600 back in the spring and we are bringing the same car with us this weekend. We believe we are better in a few areas now then we were back in May, so that will hopefully put us one spot better at the end of the night Saturday.”

FAST FACTS

• David Ragan will run a special UPS Freight car this weekend in Charlotte. This is the second time UPS Freight will be featured on the No. 6 Ford this season and the new design was chosen by UPS employees. Ragan will be driving the same car that sat on the pole in Texas and finished seventh.

• Chassis 750 is the same car Ragan drove to a second-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600.
