MARKS EYES SUCCESS IN NASHVILLE RETURN: “Nashville is one of my favorite tracks on the schedule,” said Marks, who has one previous Truck Series start at the 1.333-mile oval. “I’ve run there in ARCA and in the Trucks before and had some great races so I’m optimistic for the weekend.” Marks’ “great races” include the 2007 Nashville ARCA 150, where he sat on the outside pole and finished 13th. “It’s a great town and has a loyal following of fans and always a great time.

I feel like we’ve been making some progress the last couple races on pace and even though we struggled just a bit with the GoPro Chevy at Martinsville, I think we have a good package heading into the weekend and have some good notes that we can build on. The guys on this team are getting better every week and I’m looking forward to going to the first track on this year’s schedule that I’ve been to and had some success at.”

THE CREW CHIEF’S CHOICE FOR NASHVILLE:

Crew Chief Doug Wolcott has selected chassis No. 75 for the 2nd Annual Bully Hill Vineyards “200”. Marks last raced this truck at Darlington Raceway, where he qualified 22nd and finished 21st after sustaining damage in a late race wreck. Since then, the truck has been repaired and repainted. This new and improved piece will see its first laps in practice on Friday.

FRIDAY = “FAN-DAY” IN NASHVILLE!:

Justin Marks, teammate Cole Whitt, and other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers will take part in an autograph session on Friday, April 22nd from 1 to 2 p.m. The autograph session will take place in the Expo Area at Nashville Superspeedway, outside of Gate 3.
